Here's a rundown of recent activity.  Enjoy - Dan

Wednesday, February 17th

I DJ'd an 80's Dance Party @ Riley's last night!!!!  The college kids were out in force.  YO!  Billy Jean is not my lover!

Friday, February 12th

Ahhhhh......Jesters Bar.  Need I say more.  Chad was a gracious host, as always.  And Andrea Crossguns opened for us.  God, I love her music.  You've gotta check her out.

Saturday, February 6th

Haiti  Relief Concert - I had the honor of playing with a fantastic collection of musicians to raise money for the Haiti earthquake victims.  Thanks, Walkin' Jim, for inviting me to join you.  Mark and Gil were busy, so they couldn't join me, but I rocked the house as good as I know how.  Totally impressed by Born Too Late.  Old school blues.  These guys are good!

Thursday, February 4th

Dan - Gilbert came on down to Jam last night.  What a freakin' blast.  I've got footage of him mopping the floor with his back during a solo.  Will post it soon.

Thursday, January 21st

1st and 3rd Thursday of every month!!  Yes, it's a school night, but I've been getting everyone home by 11pm.  Okay, I'm full of crap.  Stay as long as you like, but the music ends at 10:30pm!  Last night was yet another one for the ages.

Friday/Saturday, January 15-16

Great Divide Ski Lodge - Just did the solo thing in the Lodge this weekend.  A really nice crowd.  Dang it feels good when people actually listen to my music.  We'll see you back up there on Feb. 19th and March 28th for the deck party.  The whole band will be there soaking up the sun (cross your fingers).

New Year's Eve!!

Played out at the Elkhorn View Lodge for a wedding.  You gotta see this place.  Fireworks and champagne.  Rocked the house and kissed girls at midnight.  What a tough job.  Happy New Year!

That reminds me.....wedding season is just around the corner.  Dates are booking fast.  We can do DJ services and ceremony sound reinforcement, too.  Send us an email soon if you want us at your wedding.  Peace

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

Dan - I did a solo show last night to a fairly raucous crowd.  Kinda blew me away.  Lots of old friends, tasty pints, and a frizzy-haired old man with a bad case of OCD.  Riley's never lets me down.  Cheers

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

Rocked Riley's again and kept'em dancing til closing time.  Thanks to Martin for being one of the most accomodating bartenders we've ever met.  More Guiness please!

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

Sincerest apologies to our friends in Butte, America.  Three of us down with the flu at the same time.  We'll be rockin' the Blue Luna for the National Folk Festival next July.  We promise to make it up to you.

Friday, October 16th, 2009

Dan - Riley's Irish Pub was a mad house last night.  People bangin' into my mic, fallin' over the monitors.  Such a tight fit that feels soooo good.  Damn, I love that place.  I've probably told you before, but the corned beef and cabbage is the best grub this side of Butte.

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

The NAMI Walk was a huge success.  There were around 3000 people in the park on an incredibly beautiful day.  Blue sky, sunshine, and smilin'!  What a great cause.  Matt Kuntz is a champion of the cause....and a damn good one.  Thanks, Matt, for being a great human being.  We'll rock the park for you anytime.

Saturday, August 15th

Izaak's - Craig, MT

Get your asses out here!  You won't regret it.  Izaak's built a sweet outdoor stage they call "The Log Jam".  100 yards from the best trout fishing in the Northern Hemisphere.  No joke.  We're excited as hell.  Hope the weather holds up.  It's freakin' Montana, ya know.

Friday, August 14th

Played the "Bringin' Down the Stacks Party" last night at the East Helena VFW.  Wow!  Great party.  Lots of stories and reminiscing among the locals.  They demolished the three smelter stacks this morning.  Half the town was still drunk from last nights debauchery.

Monday, August 3rd

Last Saturday we had the pleasure of playing a gig with The Clintons Band.  A massive party, folks.  Thanks for being the fans we always wanted.  "Clintons Summer Camp" went on to the wee hours of the morning.....in fact, sunrise.  Check out the podcast re-capping the evening. http://www.clintonsband.com/free-ride-radio-29/   What a freakin' blast, people.  This was the first annual.  I would suggest getting your tickets early next year.

The Edward James Band is:

Dan Hunthausen:  rhythm guitar, vocals

Gilbert Gildroy:  guitar, vocals

Mark Hutchinson:  coronet, vocals, percussion

Rennan Rieke:  standup bass

Jeremy Slead:  Drums
